Nourish Rewards Card: Terms & Conditions

1. Your Nourish Rewards Card is issued by The General Health Food Store Dublin Limited trading as Nourish. ("Nourish") All Nourish Rewards Cards and Gift Cards remain the property of Nourish.

2. Your Nourish Rewards Card is issued free of charge to persons who purchase goods in all participating branches of Nourish. Nourish reserves the right to alter products included or excluded from the Rewards Card scheme.

3. To apply for a Nourish Rewards Card you must be aged 18 years or over.

4. Your name, address or email address and signature must be provided for a Nourish Card to be registered. If you do not register your card you will not be able to replace a lost card or receive notice and information of special offers and promotions.

5. One Nourish Rewards Card will be issued per account.

6. A Nourish Rewards Card is for consumer use only and may not be used by a business entity.

7. The Nourish Rewards Card is non-transferable and the card may only be used by the person whose name is registered on the card. Points are not transferable to other card holders.

8. Earning Points:
a. Points will be awarded to all customers of Nourish stores who have registered to use a Nourish Rewards Card on the purchase of qualifying goods and on the presentation of a valid Nourish Rewards Card at the time of purchase.

b. Where you are not in possession of your Card, points can be added on presentation of your receipt along with your Card at the same store within 30 days of the original transaction. A valid receipt must be provided, with no exceptions.

c. One point will be awarded for every euro spent on a qualifying purchase.

d. Points are calculated on the value of goods purchased after all special offers and discounts, if any, have been taken into account.

e. From time to time Nourish may award bonus points on selected items. Nourish reserves the right to add and remove bonus point offers without prior notification.

9. Additional benefits:

a. From time to time Nourish will provide additional benefits and rewards for members but reserves the right to add and remove such benefits and or rewards without prior notification.

b. Third party offers may be made from time to time in conjunction with the Nourish Rewards Card. Nourish does not accept any liability for failure of any third party offers.

10. Qualifying purchases:

a. Qualifying purchases are vitamins, herbal remedies and nutritional supplements, skincare, body care and hair care products.

b. Food and beverage purchases do not qualify for rewards points at present.

c. Nourish reserves the right to make changes to the qualifying products. Changes to the qualifying purchases will be advertised in advance on the website www.nourish.ie and in store. You may not receive any other type of notification.

11. Redeeming Points:

a. Each Nourish point has a value of one cent (€0.01). So, 100 points = €1.00. You can use your nourish points to purchase any item for sale in a Nourish store.

b. Points become redeemable when your balance reaches 500 points; ie; when the value reaches €5.00.

c. When redeeming points, cash or credit/debit cards may also be used to pay the balance of a purchase provided again that there is a minimum number of 500 points on your card.

d. Points cannot be exchanged for cash. Where the item purchased is less than the value of points on your card then points will be deducted to the value of the item purchased and the balance will be left on your card in the form of points. Change in the form of cash will not be given under any circumstances.

12. Returning Goods:

a. Where you return goods purchased using points your card will be re-credited with the points used to pay for the purchase. No cash refund will be given.

b. When you return goods for which points were earned, the points will be deducted from your rewards card. If your card is not presented when receiving the refund the points will automatically be deducted from your card the next time you present it in store.

13. Replacement Cards:

a. Nourish does not accept any liability for lost, stolen or damaged cards or any points accrued on or redeemed from your rewards card without your knowledge.

b. The Nourish Rewards card should be treated as though it has a cash value.

c. Where a card is lost or stolen you can cancel it and request a replacement card in store or e-mail to info@nourish.ie . Any balance of points on the card at that time will be transferred to the new card issued. NB: Please note that this can only be done if you your card has been previously registered. ie; Your name and contact details were recorded with your card number.

d. Nourish reserves the right not to issue a replacement card.

14. Termination of Account:

a. Where a card is not used for 12 consecutive months it will be deemed to have expired. Any points balance will be set to nil and the card will be cancelled.

b. To avoid this happening simply use your card to earn or redeem points at least once within a twelve month period.

c. A card may not be re-activated once it has been cancelled. A customer should apply for a new account. Should your card be cancelled due to inactivity and you wish to commence collecting points simply apply for a new Rewards card.

15. Modification and Termination of the Nourish Rewards Card:

a. Nourish reserves the right to change any of the terms and conditions governing the Nourish Rewards Card Scheme including but not limited to the methods through which points can be earned, how points can be used, the value of points earned and the conditions under which points can be forfeited at any time with or without notice to the rewards card user even though these changes may affect a customer's ability to use points he or she has already earned.

b. Nourish reserves the right to terminate the rewards card scheme with notice to customers displayed in stores and on the Nourish website. On termination of the scheme any points remaining in a customers account will be forfeited and no compensation will be provided.

c. You may terminate your participation in the Nourish Rewards Card scheme at any time.

16. Limitation of Liability:

To the fullest extent permitted by the law neither Nourish, its employees or representatives will be liable for any loss or damage arising out of or in connection with your use or inability to use the Nourish Rewards Card including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss or damages, loss of data, income, profit or opportunity, loss of or damage to property and claims of third parties.

17. Privacy:

a. Nourish fully subscribes to data protection principles and the use of your personal data collected from you in connection with your participation in the Nourish Rewards Card scheme is governed by the Data Protection Laws.

b. Your personal data will be treated as confidential and will be used for the purposes of providing you with marketing material including product information, information about special offers, in store events and promotions and any other events associated with Nourish products we feel may be of interest to you. We will contact you by email, post or telephone using the contact details you have given.

c. Nourish will not share your personal information with any third party without your prior permission. We may share non personal statistical data with third parties.

d. You have a right at any time to request us to stop sending you marketing material or to withdraw from the Rewards Card Scheme. Please write to Nourish Office, 16 Wicklow Street, Dublin 2 or email info@nourish.ie

18. Applicable Law: The applicable law is Irish Law.
