How to Use Product

Chia Seed Hummus recipe by Chia Bia

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups chickpeas, cooked or canned
  • 3-4 garlic cloves
  • 4 tablespoon tahini
  • 2 tablespoon Chia Bia Whole Chia Seeds
  • juice of one lemon
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika optional
  • 1/4 cup olive oil, extra virgin
  • coriander or parsley leaves to garnish, optional

Method:

  1. Pulse all of the ingredients except the coriander leaves in a food processor or good quality blender until smooth.
  2. Add more or less of the reserved chickpea water to achieve your desired consistency.
  3. Adjust the seasonings to taste. Serve immediately drizzled with some more Whole White Chia Seeds, olive oil, paprika, coriander or parsley leaves.

Top Tip: If you are using canned chickpeas reserve some of the liquid to be used up while processing the hummus.
