Black rice is a delicious rice with a chewy texture and great depth of flavours. It is rich in the antioxidant anthocyanin, a plant pigmment which gives it its glossy black colour. Black rice is also high in vitamin E.

This is a glutinous rice that binds well, making it great for use in dishes such as sushi or made in to rice balls. It can also be used in regular dishes mixing with vegetables, meat or fish.
