Co-enzyme Q10 is produced naturally in the body and found in the mitochondria inside every cell. The highest concentration of CoQ10 is found in the organs that have the highest energy requirements, such as the heart, liver, kidneys and lungs. As we age our bodies naturally produce less Co-Q10, but it is possible to increase intake through diet or supplementation and can be found in foods such as fatty fish, broccoli, cauliflower, oranges, strawberries and peanuts.

CoQ10 is lipophilic which means ‘fat loving’. As a result, it has been paired in this formulation with mediumchain triglycerides (MCTs) from coconut oil which aid in the absorption of CoQ10.
